Over 250 peaceful protesters were arrested yesterday during a mass rally on the New York Stock Exchange. Quinn Bolwicki shares some powerful photos.

Photos and text kindly provided by Quinn Bolwicki:

“On November 17th, Occupy Wall Street took a trip to the New York Stock Exchange. Police blocked protestors at all entrances of the Exchange, and it didn’t take long before conflict began. Police became violent when they decided protestors had begun to “block pedestrian traffic” by peacefully standing and chanting on the sidewalks and refusing to move.”

Absolutely stunning images. Chris Marker’s spirit is alive in this set of images: both his pictures from the streets of Paris in 1968 and his recent series Passengers — pictures of imperiled humanity itself. This is an epic moment … Images truly do “tremble” sometimes.
