In an interview with Al Jazeera, linguist and political activist Noam Chomsky says intellectuals have a moral duty to hold centers of power to account.

Chomsky on Obama:

“He has no moral center … I mean there’s some nice rhetoric here and there but when you look at the actual policies, they are pretty frightening. The drone assassination campaign is a perfectly good example, I mean it’s just a global assassination campaign.”

No am, but am … interesting points, lacking in transcendent contract, until now …

Professor Chomsky, bless his heart and for all his good intentions, in my opinion has no moral left.

sad, that chomsky also trumpets elitist al-gorian ferrytale about global warming.
Everybody who seriously studied this matter knows co2 is not big factor in cilmate, and had always only followed milanković curve of temperature caused by orbital parameters. co2 always only contributed in some limited range but not ever dictated the main trend.

chomsky should retire, before he ruins all his reputation, because he’s more and more wrong – with GW, as with žižek, who’m he underestimated probably by evaluating his style instead of theories (systemic violence, critic of new age and other ideologies) , etc.
