Dr Julia Nicholls is a Lecturer in French & European Studies at King’s College London.  She specializes in the history of modern French ideas, particularly 19th century socialism and revolution.  Her book, Revolutionary Thought after the Paris Commune, 1871-1885, was published by Cambridge University Press in 2019.
