In this episode of the Laura Flanders Show, author and activist Naomi Klein discusses her new book, On Fire, in which she argues that addressing the climate crisis requires more than simply reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Through a series of essays, Klein makes the case for a Green New Deal that tackles the causes and impacts of climate change while confronting racial and economic inequality. We cannot, she says, address one without the other.
